Cabot After School, Inc. (CASP) offers a safe nurturing environment for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our staff strives to provide a sense of community for children and their families and helps foster friendships in a relaxed, fun, and structured program. CASP compliments the public school learning experience by offering children plenty of physical exercise as well as creative outlets in the arts.
Meet the Board
A Board of Directors consisting of 9 parents is elected at the Spring Annual Corporate Meeting in May. Their term of office begins the following month after the joint meeting with the outgoing board. The Board meets monthly and each member sits on a secondary committee that may or may not meet on a monthly basis.
Every year CASP enjoys raising money and awareness for a multitude of charities, such as Kids Cooking Green and the CASP scholarship fund. Some fundraisers are annual, such as the Valentine's Day Boutique, Mystery Dinner, and Square 1 Art. CASP has also raised money for the Butterfly Garden at Cabot and supporting an orphanage in Haiti.
Concord Family Trees
This year CASP is excited to announce its participation in the Concord Museum Family Tree exhibit yet again. Our tree will be decorated with original ornaments inspired by the acclaimed book Dragon's Love Tacos written by Adam Ruben and illustrated by Daniel Salimieri. This instillation will be displayed in Concord from November 26th through January 4th.
